I have directed at drama schools including London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Rose Bruford College, London College of Music and Liverpool Institute for Performance Arts (LIPA) whilst I have been invited to sit on drama school audition panels and led workshops about the drama school audition process at The National Youth Theatre.

My current private acting students have received acceptances to Central School of Speech and Drama, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Mountview, Rose Bruford College, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Guildford School of Acting, The Brit School, London College of Music, and Arts Ed. All work professionally.


Audition Preparation

  • I will help to find both classical and contemporary monologues that suit your age, range and personality

  • I offer a rigorous approach to Shakespearean technique and performance that is very detailed, manageable and fun

  • A comprehensive understanding of the context of your audition choices

  • Confidence building throughout the process so that you feel secure, poised and equipped with your audition choices

  • Mock auditions to prepare you for the process and ensure you deliver on the day

Individual Study

  • Focussed individual sessions as either a one-off or ongoing study of a monologue or exploration of playwright

  • I offer a bespoke approach adapting to your range, chosen text and personality

  • You will receive acting and voice exercises to practise after the session or between sessions to support ongoing development

  • Advice on self-tapes and zoom auditions for a production, agent or casting director

  • Confidence building during the session(s) through an in-depth knowledge of the character, play and context
